Reservation & Payment
A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot on the retreat in Oaxaca, Mexico. Your space is not secured until payment is received. The remaining balance must be paid in full by the stated deadline. All payments are final.

Cancellation Policy
Due to the nature of international travel and advance commitments made with local Oaxacan hosts, artists, and guides, all payments are non-refundable. This includes cancellations, missed days, or early departures for any reason. You may request to transfer your spot to another participant with prior written approval.

Travel Requirements
Participants are responsible for booking their own flights to and from Oaxaca, Mexico, unless otherwise specified. You are responsible for ensuring you have a valid passport and meet all entry requirements for Mexico. We recommend arriving and departing within the suggested travel window to fully participate in the experience.

Mandatory Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is required for all participants. Your policy must include coverage for trip cancellation, medical expenses, travel delays, and interruptions. Proof of insurance may be requested prior to the retreat. This requirement is in place to protect both you and the integrity of the experience.

Background Check Requirement
To support the safety and integrity of the retreat experience, all participants are required to complete a background check prior to attendance. Instructions will be provided after registration. The cost of the background check is $19.99, which will be applied toward your total retreat fee if you are accepted. This check will be completed before deposits are collected, and all information will be handled confidentially. Participation is contingent upon completion and review of this requirement.

Health & Safety

By participating, you acknowledge responsibility for your own physical, emotional, and mental well-being. Travel in Oaxaca may include walking on uneven terrain, varying climates, and hands-on cultural and wellness activities. Please inform us in advance of any medical conditions, dietary needs, or accessibility considerations.

Itinerary & Local Conditions
Our retreat is intentionally designed in partnership with local Oaxacan communities. As such, the itinerary may shift due to weather, community needs, cultural events, or local conditions. Any changes will be made with care to preserve the depth and integrity of your experience.

Cultural Respect & Community Engagement
This retreat is rooted in reciprocity and respect. Participants are expected to engage with cultural humility, honoring local traditions, artisans, guides, and families who welcome us into their spaces. Photography or recording in certain spaces may be limited; guidance will always be provided.

Liability Waiver
By participating in this retreat in Oaxaca, Mexico, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with international travel and cultural experiences. You agree to release and hold harmless the retreat organizers from liability for any injury, loss, damage, delay, or inconvenience incurred during the retreat.

Photography & Media
Photos and videos may be taken throughout the retreat to share the experience and support future offerings. If you prefer not to be included, please notify us in advance.
